Meet The Team
Chris Snider, AMBCI
Chris Snider, Principal at The Snider Group (TSG), has been in the insurance risk control industry since 1999. Working with two large global commercial insurance carriers, Chris has occupied positions from junior risk control consultant to leading a risk control department with over 25 consultants, covering all services in Canada and beyond.
Throughout his career, Chris has coordinated mid to large commercial accounts for insurance risk requirements and has conducted site specific insurance based risk assessments for Property Damage, Business Interruption, Natural Hazards, General & Product Liability as well as Product Recall. Since 2010, Chris has dedicated the majority of his time performing risk assessments in the business resilience arena with expertise in the following areas:

In addition, Chris is an Associate Member with the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) since 2011. Present in over 120 countries and with more than 9,000 members, the BCI is dedicated to helping train business resilience professionals and keep the world's organizations risk resilient.
Over the years, Chris has helped several organizations navigate their property, liability and business resilience needs to improve their overall resilience and manage their insurance risk profile. Chris is dedicated to risk identification, risk avoidance and risk reduction through sound, logical, effective and cost conscious risk improvement actions.
